Interesting article. From it, I had a look at Hour Car in Minneapolis, which had a very impressive web site. I hope this concept really takes off.

It is a great concept and works very well from what little I know. My son is a senior at UNC and uses ZipCar. He loves it. He only needs a car once or twice a month, rest of the time he uses public transit or a bike. My daughter would benefit from it, however the college she goes to is out in the boonies in a small town
so she has a car. I live in a small town so it doesn't exist. I do forsee the possibility of a car co-op in the future tho.
