Moving II

Moving without a car in winter is difficult

So Two guys and a truck, and Uhaul was the best bet.
Unless you can just not have alot of stuff and can find some transport.
I am going for the second see how it goes? Everything I need to transport fits in a sedan just how many sedans? I also use/borrow people's luggage to take on the bus. The bus drivers allow alot of luggage

Any one moving experinces?

How did your move go 261877?

Right now Tempe looks really good and my work commute is only an hour if I take the bus n bike!

I used a U-Haul truck when I moved... the most expensive part of the move was getting my non-running truck towed to the new place. (One of these days I'll actually fix it... just waiting to be in the mood and have good weather on the same day)

I did the bike to the U-haul place, and back thing.

I was bad.

I borrowed a friend's SUV to move, and another friend's strong back.

You may have helped your friend evolve into something more earth-friendly. I had a friend who owned a truck and was so sick of helping friends that he down-sized to something more fuel efficient.

So I moved
I used 4 car loads and two bus trips to move myself 17 miles.
I moved my clothes on the bus and sleeping bag. I needed to use the bus anyway.

I still spent the same on a uhaul. However I gave it to my friends in food and gas.
