I have posted these before here and in the C&V section but, what the heck. First one is a 1978 Sabatini "Record" with a mix of Campagnolo Nuovo and Super Record parts, Ambrosio Montreal Oro rims, Cinelli stem and seat. It was bought new. The second bike is Steelwool Tweed purchased earlier this year as a frame and built up for light touring and just riding around town. First time trying out Campagnolo Ergo shifters and so far I like them using a Shimano 9 speed mountain bike drive train. Also trying out a Brooks B17 Special - so far so good. Some of the other parts are Thomson seat post, 700c wheels with Hope Pro 3 hubs and 36h Mavic CXP33 rims w/ velo Orange qr skewers and Panaracer Pasela Tour Guard 32mm tires, Sram PG 990 11-34 cassette, KMC X9 SL chain, Velo Orange 34/48 compact cranks, KMS Sylvan Prime touring pedals with Vel Orange toe straps, Origin 8 stem and Velo Orange Randonneur handlebars, Dajia rear rack, Carradice bags ( Pendle and Zipped Roll ) , Shimano XT rear derailleur, Campagnolo Centaur front, Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed ergo shifters, Kore cantilever brakes with Kool Stop pads, Velo Orange 45mm hammered fenders,a Chris King head set and lastly an n.o.s. Reg pump from the 1960's. It wasn't cheap to put together but it has been very enjoyable to ride!

I've also got a Schwinn Suburban which I use for short 'round town trips and bar hopping, as well as a couple others which are just not appropriate for this thread. I hope to add a tandem once I meet Mrs. Junkyardking (Junkyardqueen?), and either a bakfiets or some kind of long tailer for when I've got a Junkyard rug rat or two running around.
My everywhere commuter... '98 Trek 7000zx, mismatched everything.
Wife's bike and our kid trailer... some 90s department store bike from thrift store. DIY single speed, Wald baskets. Nashbar trailer with Burly hitch. The Nashbar hitch would not fit the oversized tubing on either of our bikes, so we bought Burly forged hitches and a flex connector. Fits great, works perfect.
My '88 Kuwahara Shasta, aka the "U.A.V." (Urban Assault Vehicle).
Started service as a fixed gear winter weather bike, evolved into an IGH equipped winter / rain bike, and this spring I restored it to it's original 18 speed glory as it serves many functions and one of them is towing my trailer.
I have many other bikes but this is the bike I depend on for most things as it is so comfortable, versatile, and bombproof.
Have been car free for 4 years and was car light before that... do have a car in the driveway that is collecting dust as I do not have a need for it right now.
My Raleigh M-80 is for; carrying heavy loads (internal frame pack), nighttime, bad roads and wet and snowy conditions. The Raleigh Technium road bike is for everything else.
Some of you may be happy to hear that after owning the mountain bike for nine years, I am finally going to purchase a rear fender.

All-City Big Block fixed gear commuter/ Singlespeed road bike, 32c schwalbe tires on the stock 17t cog for commuting and 25c Continental tires on the 18t white industries freewheel for road riding.

2011 Kona Unit mountain Bike
The all-city is my my main mode of transportation, the Sparton used to be the main transport and is now relegated to beater duty and the Kona only likes to ride off-road.
I plan on building me a dedicated commuter with racks and panniers in the future as I'm getting tired of lugging a messenger bag everywhere.
Just put this together (finished yesterday),and will now be my go-to bike...
My former go-to bike (I expect it will now be the "when I'm in a bigger hurry or need some mileage" bike )...
