Call in sick? Generally too sick to bike = too sick to go to work. But I have a fairly short (4 mile) commute so its no big deal to bike when I feel iffy. If I had a longer commute and was not feeling so great I'd use public transit.

that makes sense. My public transit here wouldnt get me anywhere near my destination and my round trip is 22mi. Damnit I loath driving...

I'm fortunate to live 1.5 kilometres from work so it's easy for me to bike or walk, no matter how I'm feeling. If I were too sick to ride that distance, I'd probably be too sick to work so I'd call in.
If I lived farther away, I'd probably call a cab or a friend if I needed a ride in since our bus service does not serve my needs. (It's designed for the elderly and passengers need to book a ride 24 hours in advance.)

I used to take my e-bike. Now I just call in sick, because sickness can equate to sharing. People having things shared with them, just not viruses and the like

I've found that if I feel crappy and I push my self to ride,by the time I get to work I'm feeling alot better.I don't know if there's magic healing powers to biking.Maybe it's the sweating and exercise but it works all the time.I also find that I get sick alot less when commuting daily anyway so it doesn't happen all that often(knock wood).

I struggle with this one myself. I'd like to stay home when sick and not infect others, but, since I'm a teacher, everyone at work is usually already infected anyway, and it's generally expected that you'll be there unless you're half dead. Like some others here, I've concluded that if I'm too sick to ride, I'm too sick to work. I just ride a lot slower than normal, and when class starts, it's time for a movie and a worksheet. I used to take the bus when sick, but stopped doing that this school year, because it always made me feel guilty about possibly infecting my unsuspecting fellow passengers.
