Good article highlighting one of the local bike commuters.
So the week I start seriously considering a car free life in the near future, my car breaks down and this article is in the paper.
Is this a sign or something??

1. A brief look at my budget;
2. A careful reading of the IPCC reports;
3. An article in my local newspaper about a family of four that had been car-free for 20 years.
It was the article that tipped the balance. The family described was a normal family, not a bunch of hippies reeking of patchuli. They just happened not to spend any money on cars. It inspired me to get rid of mine, after a bit of trepidation.
