How do they compare to safety advice from people who actually ride bicycles?

    Things I've found useful:
http://bicyclesafe.com/ - how not to get hit by cars website
http://www.johnforester.com/ - Effective Cycling by J Forester is a textbook on cycling in traffic
http://www.cyclecraft.co.uk/ - UK govt. cycling in traffic manual

Recommended reading for all cyclists - Cyclecraft - Effective Cycling
Condor Cycles - quite possibly the best bike shop in London
Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

If it's this one then, yes, seen it, thanks. It's been posted multiple times but it's quite funny and well made.

Humor is subjective. I think it's hilarious myself.

I think it's pretty funny, and pretty spot-on, too.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

i've a predilection for collecting old bike books--mechanic's guides, touring guides, training books, etc--from thrift stores, and one of them has a section on flying with your bike. it suggests that if you're in the airport, and waiting for the ticket agent, see if there's an agent with a beard, and try to find yourself in his queue. people with beards, after all, are more likely to be bike friendly than people without.

    awesome.

I got one of those brilliant one-liners today from some kid sticking his head and shoulders to yell back at me while in a narrow left turn lane. Some might be able to tell where this is going, but WHAP! Mirrored in the back of the head. Karma sucks, doesn't it?

I love this video. The "inside joke" theory explains it all.

It's a two seater Rhodes Car quad with a basic sheetmetal pickup truck bodyshell. I love it, I want one
