Any of you ultra riders/randos use the new Specialized Roubaix or Domane SLR
I mostly lust after custom steel, low trail, etc, but I am fascinated by the microsuspension on the 2017 Specialized Roubaix and Trek Domane SLR. I'm busy , so haven't had a chance to go test ride them yet, but was curious if any ultra long-distance riders have recently ridden or purchased either of these, and their thoughts on these bikes for long (600km+) brevets.
Gearing may not be low enough for many, but could add front bag (klikfix type), hub dynamo and light, and 32mm tires with fenders (I believe). With the microsuspension , I imagine it could be a soft and lightweight ride.
