RUSA membership questions...

I left my membership lapse for about a year. If I would re-join, say today, would I still have the same number? And would they pro-rate my 2017 membership fee?

Thanks!

Love that response!
Short and to the point.

I add one thing:
  • new members that join between Oct-01 and Dec-31 of year [Z], actually are paying for year [Z+1], and get the last days / weeks / months of year [Z] for free.
  • I think members that have lapsed and renew similar to above get the same free period at the end of year [Z].

Okay... so just a random idea: if I join for 2017, will they send me all the back issues of their magazine for this year??

Don't count on getting the hardcopies. But they'll show up on the web site at some point.
