You don't have to get a sponsor, different distances for all levels. It may be a hilly course; we're doing the 65 miler.
looks like some more nice weather like last weekend!!

What time can people get there if they need to register and pay for the ride?
Does it leave from the guide dog institute?

Just FYI folks, this year's ride (Sunday September 16th):

just fyi, they are supposedly doing a new route this year - last year's was very good. It was indeed a bit hilly.
It started and ended at the Guide Dog facility in Smithtown (Route 25/Middle country Road, just west of the Smith haven mall and Route 347/smithtown Bypass/nesconset highway), where they have nice indoor bathrooms and and a big outdoor area for the food fest afterwards.
For what you pay in entry fees and considering the good cause, this is a good one! We even got to pet some adorable seeing eye dog cadets in training!
Just bring your climbing shoes (and gears, etc). Hope to see some BF folks there.
