I averaged a little over 50 km a day between May and October of last year which is just a little shy of 1000 miles / month and rode close to 1200 miles in June.

I figure that if I'm 100% I could tack on another century

But I've been doing this for the past 3 years. Every month. What do I get?

Only kidding, just getting to come here and brag about it is enough.

I'm trying for June, but the weather is really putting a damper on things ... literally.

I'll keep trying but July might be more realistic if the prediction for a hot summer comes true.

OK. Flčche Paris-Marseille done, with 8 riding days (914 km) in June. Will try to complete the 1000 miles in June. Should be easy, in particular if I ride as planned the Bordeaux-Paris-Randonneur by the end of this month. More later ...

Okay, I just did the 1000 miles this month as planned

Stat first: 1914 km so far (more than 1601 km which is 1000 miles)

June part of the flčche Paris-Marseille (from Chablis to Cassis after Marseille): 834 km
June 15: Club ride: Approx 130 km
June 19: Morcenx - Bordeaux: Approx 120 km
June 20 to 22 : Bordeaux-Paris Randonneur: 623 km
Miscellaneous rides till 22 June: 207 km

10 more days to go (plan to go to the mountains by the end of this week, but this is above the 1000 miles mark anyway

last month i rode 40 miles 5 days a week and did a charity ride the last weekend of the month which ended up being 180 miles over the saturday and sunday. my month total ended up being about 900. a 1000 is easy (barring any injuries) for me but it will have to be next month. im off my road bike this week and next week. found a crack in the carbon and they are sending a new frame. timing couldnt be worse as where i planned to try my first 400k. with all the down time lately i might cut it back down to 300k. with 3 months of good weather(not including july) i should have at least 2 of them being over 1k.

M, I just completed 1200 miles in June. This was indeed a strange year for Spring weather. Don't let it get you down.

And I didn't really get rolling until the last few weeks. I rode 834 miles during the last half of June.

Anyway, my weight is down, and I've muscled my touring bike around for several hilly centuries and now I'm ready to go for some up tempo riding.

Later.

two doubles, one 200k brevet, and a bunch of commuting is what did the trick. my cycling log is here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...aFjycOL1UcN7XQ

1024 miles in July -- my first 1000 mile month ever.

STP (204), RAMROD (150), 250 miles in other recreational rides, and the rest commuting. Woohoo!

Yep, I'm pretty much worthless and weak . 731 in April, to be honest I don't remember why I rode so little. Looked at my log but I didn't note anything out of the ordinary. Just lazy I guess.

1409 in July though including 9 consecutive 100+ mile days.

I got and set up my computer on July 15. It's at about 350 miles right now.... don't think I can do basically a century every 3 days but I might just accumulate enough mileage to break it! This is on a fixed track bike.

In August, I hit 1000 miles on the 29th for a total of 1050. I never thought that was possible until I did it.

arggg....was on track until i forgot to take into account a trip to fl for the last 3-4 days of the year so i missed out on 160 miles of commuting and totaled around 900 miles for the month...well, time to get back on the bike.

umd, how often do you wear out stuff on your bike? For me that would be about a rear tire/chain a month and probably a set of rims a year if you keep that up year round...your lbs must love you if you shop local
