Beaver Creek Eagle River Ride
I am thinking about registering for the century option. Has anybody done this one? The last 30 miles look to be uphill and grueling. Thoughts?

This is a week late, so you may have already done it, but if not you could use this information for next year I guess. I did it last week, and the first 68 miles was absolutely beautiful incredible riding, and the last 33 miles was a fairly bland slog along Highway 6. It's a gradual uphill though, not steep at all, so while you're pace is going to be slower, it's not particularly painful, and there's actually a fair amount of up-and-downs from Eagle to Wolcott. The last 2 miles were infuriatingly slow, but that's just the last 2 miles.
If you're deadset on a century, go for it, it's a great ride. But honestly, the part you're going to remember is the Beaver Creek - Dotsuro portion. After that it's pretty much just for the mileage.
