Mad River Valley Century

Hi Everyone
Does anyone have a map of the Mad River Valley Century (Vermont)?
I heard it's an awesome ride and would love to see the layout.
Many thanks!
Mike

If I remember right, there's about four turns.

Start in Warren, head north on Rt. 100B, get to Montpelier, take Rt. 12 south, 107 west, Rt. 100 north back to Warren. That's it. I only remember two real hills, one on 107, and one going through Granville.

Thanks Kevin! :thumb:

Did you enjoy the ride? Was it scenic?

I haven't done this organized ride but I've ridden all over the area. Odd that the route isn't published on the website but it does say that it travels "through river valleys with no mountain climbs" which meshes with what Kevin says. Plenty of scenery but no real climbs on those roads, although you aren't far from some real doozies. Brandon Gap, Middlebury Gap, Lincoln Gap, and Appalachian Gap are all just west of route 100.

Many thanks. :thumb:
I've heard of those gaps and seen them on Bikely.com, they look vicious.

have not done it... but ridden / driven most of the route on various other rides. pretty flat, considering it is in vermont. nice route, traffic is fair. climbing in granville isn't too bad - it is very scenic. i do a ride from waitsfield to hancock through the gulf and call it my fairly flat forty...
