48 mile beach cities tour!

Sunday, 10/23/11. Me and buddy Clay and his wife rode and epic 48 miles through the SoCal beach cites of Redondo, Hermosa, Manhattan, Marina Del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica and Will Rogers state beach...and BACK! Super Blast of a day! Between Clay and myself, we pedaled more than 50,000 revolutions!

This is really incredible. Thanks for posting. Would it be easier with a bigger wheel?

Yes, it's definitely much better on a 36er since you go so much further with each revolution than on a smaller wheel. plus, the big wheel is super smooth and has almost a "flywheel" effect at times. And with short, 110mm cranks you can really spin efficiently.
