Very inexpensive front rack bag

I just noticed these in my newest Sportmans Guide catalogue.

The dimensions might be OK for a front rack bag.

https://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c....aspx?a=947362

At 2 bags for $22.47, the price is right.

Sportmans Guide also has an "if you don't like it for any reason, return it" policy. I have tested that policy, and it works.

Looks nice and easily modified. IMO, you will first need to remove the handles, and then you'll need a decaleur and/or sew on some velcro straps underneath so it mounts securely. Hopefully the top flap is easy to open and get into while riding. Otherwise it kinda of defeats the advantage of a nice front bag, dontcha think?

if it's what I think it is, there is a considerable amount of internal space lost to padding.

Hey, Mike!

Please review once you receive yours. Sportmans Guide has some great items.

After unterhausen's post, I decided not to. I get a lot of stuff from Sportmans Guide - including very nice, very, very warm (Swedish) Navy peacoat this winter. I wore it in Manhattan this winter, and two doormen stepped out of their respective buildings on two different occasions to tell me how great it looked. That cracked me up. The button are really shiny brass.

I keep any eye on the milsurp bags.
