Which Sweat Band do you use?
I ride in the heat and I always fight sweat in my eyes. Any suggestion from hot weather riders for the best method or band?

Halo. Since I'm balding, I use a white Halo Skull Cap. No stripes or goo on head to drip in eyes. Both the band and hat fit easily in my helmet.

Headsweats "super duty shorty" skull cap OR Pearl Izumi's head band. I like the PI headband as it can worn over the ears for early morning cool rides; and then flipped over when it warms up. But like Carbonfiberboy, my hair is getting sparser, so the skullcap on sunny days keeps the head from getting red. Had a Bontrager skullcap but the elastic was so tight it gave me a headache.

Original Buff headwear or a clone of same. It holds my long hair out of the way, and keeps it from snagging on the headrest, or from getting tangled in the helmet or the headrest.

I use the Halo II, thin so it fits under a helmet nicely. Has a rubber gutter over your forehead that direct the sweat rearward. Works very well, I highly recommend.

I have the halo sweatband with yellow rubber thing, and the halo skull cap with similar. Both work great.

I like either the Pearl Izumi or Assos head bands. I have one of each and they have both lasted 5+ years so far. The PI has stretched more than the Assos over time. No balding issues here so far, so no need for sunburn protection up there, yet.

Cotton bandana, stop and wring it out every 1 hour or 750 feet of climbing, whichever comes first.
Or Halo headband, stop and wring it out every 1.5 hours or 1,000 feet of climbing, whichever comes first.

Opposite problem. I find I sweat less without the sweatband, so I rely on air-cooling. But in winter I wear a cotton cycling cap underneath the helmet to keep my head warmer. The winter helmet is usually the old summer helmet but all the padding has come off because of the sweat...
