60 miles, 7,000 feet of climbing, and three of the best mountains in Massachusetts!

I give you....

The Berkshire Triple Crown!

I built my own race this past weekend, and took it on a test run. It's grueling climb after grueling climb, but there's plenty of relief with some quick pit-stops at local eateries.

I'd love to get more people involved when I repeat it next year. Maybe bring a little cycling culture to my home town in the process...

Thoughts?

I was trying not to get too be too jealous of where you get to ride on a regular basis but then I read the bit about Jack's Hot Dogs . . . .

Yeah, I don't take it for granted. Still, the last little bit is important; everyone's got some epic ride in their backyard.

That looks like fun... going to be in Beckett end of the month, no time for riding though, teaching a short course. I've had the bike down that way a couple of times. Nice riding...

What bag are you using in your anything cage?

I wish it were special. It's a cheap stuff sack that came with my thermarest wrapped in a Snow Peak mesh sack. There's a raincoat in there.

Really, you should end at East Side Cafe or Teo's Hot Dogs in Pittsfield.
