Shout out for Calfee Design
When a bike frame has served you reliably thru the years it's worth noting.
Especially when the frame is carbon fibre.
This Calfee TetraPro frame is almost 17 years old. At 60cm, the weight is 3.0 pounds. It has undergone several transformations from the original set-up. Now sporting Campy Chorus 10sp (2004 version), with 1", full carbon fork, and aluminum tubular wheelset.
The bike survived California's earthquaked Santa Cruz mountain backroads and many miles in the 3 states it has been moved to. Being my lightest frame, it has proven to be sturdy as well.
Craig Calfee about 17 years ago. And the bike today (less handlebar tape).
Thanks Craig. your excellent frame has provided years of enthusiasm and faithful service.
