I'm a victim of Hong Kong People. The axaracycles.com is a scam website. I buy a bike of Wilier Gran Turismo Ultegra Bike 2013. That officer suggest me to made payment US $1500 and US $335 tax and Insurance though Western Union. But I never receive my bike and never been contact them again since I paid money. Don't to be a next victim.

Welcome to BF. Sorry to hear about you getting hit by scammers like that. Western Union payments are always a major warning sign. Deal with a LBS near where you live. You'll be a lot safer in doing that.

I was originally hesitant to make the purchase in axarcycles company, because there are complaints and information available on the internet. But I kept trying to dispel my doubts and I tried to make a purchase in the company axaracycles. And finally all my doubts wrong, Axaracycles is the official and real companies in Indonesia. They make deliveries to purchase my order bike. They also provide evidence and the tracking number for my order bike. And finally I received my order bike. Because for a bike that I bought was immediately sent to my home address. So I assure buyers that want to make a purchase order at axaracycles company, do not listen to issues and slander are not true. Because axaracycles company is the official and real companies in Indonesia.

Oh, they may be located there, but that doesn't mean they are totally legit, either. Some of the brands they claim to ship to your door in fact do not permit direct shipments, preferring that customers pick them up from their LBS.

The photo of the 'Araxacycles' shop front has been copied and photoshopped, the original photo is from the Tay Junction Specialized Concept Store in Singapore.

Other photos on the 'Araxacycles' website have been copied too.

Why would a real shop need to copy photos of another shop ?

You should have asked me before you bought and I could've told you it was a scam just by looking at it.

Henrywell - thanks for posting. Obviously you feel passionately about those of us here in the US being skeptical of your business, but you can't blame those who doubt based on the original post in this thread. Any chance you can post a picture of yourself in front of your store holding up a newspaper? Heck, a picture of you in front of your store while doing a headstand would work for me. NO PHOTOSHOP ALLOWED!

Bummer, someone lost a significant amount of money, but Western Unioning cash at a too good to be true price is almost always a recipe for disaster. Seems like a couple years back there was a website claiming to be for a bike shop in England and there actually was a moped shop at the same location with a similar name so they took several people's money with the same Western Union scam.

If you're not sure a web shop is legit, a Google image search on some of "their" pics works wonders. Like cobba just did there. Scammers, Indonesian or otherwise, tend to be lazy buggers.

I have a feeling that the Hong Kong Police dept is going to have a hard time finding someone by the name of Henrywell at a shop that doesn't exist. Plus I don't speak Chinese well enough nor do I have the receipt for proof to send to them.

I used to work for a jewelry manufacturer in Rhode Island, every day the corporate email, which I administrated, was packed with messages like this post from henrywell, 100 of emails from all over the far east looking to do business with us, most the same email over and over again, from the same "manufacturers".

I can bet your chinese is better than his english, since most of those statements are pre-written templates, that are sent in response to any accusation.

There are loads of internet scammers out there.
Not bike related, but my wife tried to buy some expensive boots from a scam site. She discovered her error the day after she ordered. She immediately e-mailed them and canceled. They replied, in broken english, that the boots had already been shipped. They also told her if she disputed the purchase they would give out her cc number to lots of blogs and other social media (nice guys). We canceled the card that day...
It struck me as pretty weird to defend your business with a pointless, but very threatening e-mail.

Sounds legit. I always do web searches for online companies I have purchased from to make sure no one has called them a scam company.

I'm a victim from USA. Paid, but frame never delivered nor money back. USD 1500 gone, where contacting them did not make Andy difference, they could not even talk english anymore after a feb mins in conversation. A pity i did not check This website before ordering!
