That was hot.
That was hot.
It was great to see your guys working for you when you were OTF. I know it hasn't always been that way. In the break, it looked like Mr. Air Attack was a liability.
Hubba hubba. I pity the guy behind Ex when he is drilling it IAB.
Thanks for the video on Sunday, Hermes. Helped me get splits, and check form/position, etc. Speaking of form, it seemed like most of the Hellyer crowd had really good starting technique.
Here are the videos from the 500 m TT from the back stretch and two kilos. The first kilo is by the VSC hotshot who does it in 1:07. He also did an 11.1 flying 200 earlier that morning. Plus he a s great pursuitist. Vance is the last kilo.
That UCC train at 2-to-go looked awesome. I've seen them pull it off a couple of times for Big M. Unfortunately it didn't quite work on Sunday.
Here's a couple of videos with me in them:
Kool N Fit (Chris Cono Memorial) Criterium
SCNCA Master 55+ District Criterium Championship
In both videos, I have the white helmet. My teammate, who is generally at the back, has the mostly black helmet.
Good stuff, Cleave!!
Lap 4 of the Menlo Park WM45+ crit. I'm towards the back of the front pack, left side.
repost from the 33, which is a repost someone sent me from the youtubes...
I rarely do Masters races as I prefer the easier Cat 3 races. When I do Masters I try to do the 45+ since they're easier than the 35+. On this day I had 4 teammates doing the 35+ and zero doing 45+ so I decided to do the 35+. Very unlike me but it worked out.
Thanks for the assist @shovelhd.
Nice vid, Aki.
I will give an OMG.
Me too... sheesh.
I counted 4 waves to the camera. No hands would have been god like.
And they say the British are staid and reserved. Cup o' tea?
A little motorized two wheel race from Cav's home:
Not sure "balls" even covers this. I did Moto GP for a bunch of years and this makes my hair stand up.
That race is crazy. I remember seeing a sidecar division back in the Speed Channel days. Guys making a turn at 100+ mph with ass 1" from the road.
Swimming with Mako sharks looks like an upside.
This is for you guys and gals who ride tandem.
The Isle of Mann TT is such a throwback to the days where motorcycle and car racers died regularly that I am amazed that it still happens. While the general safety record in motorsports has improved by leaps and bounds (thankfully) the Isle of Mann TT continues to be dangerous because of the nature of the circuit. It's thrilling to watch on video or TV but I also cringe while watching it.
