Belated Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas, and happy anything else you celebrate during this time of year. Any guesses as to how many watts of drag these antlers are worth?

That is one gorgeous elf, Hermes. (Not that you aren't cute, too, Cleave.) I hope everyone has a great holiday week, filled with new bike gear and killer rides. I will be stuck in Vegas surrounded by Koreans. Fortunately, they aren't so bad, as far as in-laws go.

We did 10 hours in the car yesterday (SoCal to Reno), over 90m on 395 with chains going 35. Drove right past Mammoth Mountain where they got 23" of powder. Today it's 4 hours in the car to the Bay Area. It dumped in Reno, skiing is going to be great.
For an old downhiller like me this is only a small bit of torture.
SoCal is going to be bright and sunny. Me? I'll be in NorCal dodging rain storms and driving from social/family event to social/family event.
