Are you coming up to do the Cherry Pie?

I'm not. The other guys will probably be there.

Could he get any lower?

sarals 03-20-14 11:21 PM

Hey, AzT, you had the front of that race pretty well stretched out, there! Trying a break, were you?

I could get a bigger drop on the stem, but those are the deepest drop bars I could find and no spacers. It's the H1 frame with the short head tube too.

Pretty happy with the Trek.

Neat pic, lined out with two other Nats champs. Not uncommon in them parts.

That IS a neat pic! Trek? I thought it was a Fuji. My bad! I do see where the BB is a bit higher than the Venge. Oh - what's with the black helmet?

Here is a photo of me being aero at the Putah Creek Smackdown TT last Wednesday. I am disturbed by how my tummy looks when I'm in that position! Hors Categorie photo.

AzTallRider 05-25-14 01:18 PM

Nice shot, Sara. But I bet wearing that watch cost you .987 seconds.

It's pretty draggy, I know! Thanks, AzT!

Cleave 06-03-14 03:11 PM

sarals, missed your TT photo when you posted it. I dream of my helmet fairing into my back as yours does.

I feel a lot worse than I look (blue and black helmet):

I'm not as thin as I would like to be, but this particular skinsuit makes me look fatter than I am.

We passed someone who got dropped from their team on the back straight. For some reason, he decided that it was a good idea to get onto the back of our team. This is the second time down t front straight after we dropped our fourth guy:

That's about as much of a "suffer face" as I can muster. I shouldn't have pulled through at that point, but I hate missing rotations. It would have been better for the team if I had though.

Your position looks fantastic.

AzTallRider 06-04-14 06:58 AM

You look great, Cleave - look forward to seeing you at the PSG.

Hermes 06-04-14 08:12 AM

Cleave, great pics. No matter how a race turns out, pics seem to salve the wounds or confirm the greatness.

BTW, I would blame any subpar results on the Shiv - it is snake bit or possessed. I think the Shiv needs an exorcism.:D

sarals 06-04-14 09:08 AM

Skinsuits do that to me, too, Cleave ;)

You look great - you all do.

Thanks, Cleave! Ex even said the helmet faired well! But, he also said I was too upright :( Yesterday I took the last shim out and dropped the stem on the steerer tube. Not much difference. Except it was harder to see up the road.
