Moved to CO and recently picked up a vintage titanium hardtail. It is deserving of a fork upgrade to replace its 1995 Rock Shox Judy SL. Here's what I'm looking for...

  • 26" Wheels
  • V-Brake (and disc for future-proof) compatible
  • Standard 9mm quick-release.
  • Mid-to-higher end. Fox, Manitou R7, RockShox SID / Reba. Open to suggestions as I'm new to this game.
  • 80 or 100mm of travel.
  • 1 1/8" Steerer
  • Good-to-excellent condition
  • Prefer air to coil. Titanium frame and lots of climbing has me thinking about weight.

Price? Depends on model etc, but some flexibility. Prefer <$300.

Anyone got anything laying around to part with? Would also just appreciate recommendations on forks to watch for.

If you happen to be interested I have lying around to trade: S3X (3-speed fix gear) Sturmey Archer-to-Open Pros wheelset, Miyata 912 Frame/Fork 59cm, Shimano 600 Arabesque group, Deore and Deore LX RDs, Cinelli 1A stem and Giro Bar (old crest logos), probably other stuff.
