That's great man! That will be an incentive to go all out. Plus it really helps to have the support. Good luck...

Nice! What are you getting from them? Uniforms, bikes, travel expenses, race fees?

Yeah, thanks! it truly is SICK!
Well as far as i know what you get out of it is free tuneups, race suport, team jersey, discounts on parts, bikes...ect along with a podium encentive deal.

On my part i have to attend around 6 races (i plan on doing 8), local trail work for a minimun of 4 hours, and be apart of the team and promote a good image to the public while riding..ect.

So i cant wait to ride now, i have been skiing ever since the mountain was open (Mt,Bachelor is only 20 min away from home) and have not been cycling for a good month now , mainly due to snow and very cold weather, i hate riding when i cant feel anything

just a mountain biker in your area i know what you mean about the paved trails... personally i hate them though, too many tourists. hopefully the snow will melt enough and we can hit the trails again!!!

for sure, suprisingly right now there is hardly any one on the paved trails... i only encountered maybe 3 people yesterday.
i tryed checking out the descutes river trail from the sunriver end... no go, there is maybe 3-6 inches of show on the ground still.
I gotta ask, are you on hutchs mounting bike team?

anyways,There was a mounting ride today at 7AM that a buch of people are doing, but i couldent make it i think the hills are calling me (hey its beautifull up there today).

Ya, i work in the area, and it hasn't been that busy lately, still paths dont compare to single track. I went by the deshutes river trail too, definatly not going to happen for awhile, but if the weather keeps this up, it might be sooner than i think. (It was great today too) Im not on the team, but im definatly going to check out the races this year!
