Mt Bike Racing Series in Colorado

I am considering some mt racing in Colorado next year. Has anyone done either the Epic Single Track series or the Rocky Mountain Championship series ? Any opinions would be great. I would be entering basically the begginner classes.

I did the Teva games at Vail which I believe was one of the Rocky Mtn Champ series races and that was a blast. If you have the time/funds to go to summit county everyother weekend then I think you will like it.

Rocky Mountain Champ series (aka Mountain States Cup) is headed up by a super guy named Keith Darner - -excellent organizer with a strong commitment to racing and youth development. You're going to get an excellent race series with Keith at the helm; that's where I'd go.
