Starting my 4th season of Mountain biking...

I'm on a Full squish now. I've learned the basics but I still prefer to keep both wheels on the ground,,mostly..

The first year was lots of falling and muscle pain, cramps, hard workouts, learning to breathe, how to eat and hydrate, how to handle the bike... I struggled to keep up with riders my age...

The second year was my get In shape year, I dropped the weight, got lean and mean, started seeking out the 'Flow',, touched it now and then,,, This year I could ride with 45 year old's and keep up, most of the time...

The third year I got my full suspension and that let me ramp up the speed and start to experience first hand,,,the 'Flow'
I was now passing more and more mid 40's riders, chasing down, catching and passing a few every ride..

This year Is starting out great, I chased down four mid 30's guys and kept up with them for a ways, say 3 miles,,then I passed one and he could not pass me back I can find the 'Flow' at will If I truly focus. I can keep a faster overall speed than ever before If I work at it, per Strava.

I feel great !
I feel 25 again !
Don't need afternoon naps any more,,ever.
No more blood pressure meds,
Starting serious work on my 6 pac
,
,
I'm 56,, My point to all this you ask ?

No I'm not bragging. I'm trying to Inspire.....

Yes you can do it and the simple truth remains the same,,, No Pain No Gain.

No more blood pressure meds,
this. bicycling quite literally saves lives. some people are runners, and many aren't. I firmly believe that anyone can ride for enjoyment and health.
