need alittle help

I have a 05 hardrock and my crank seems to be making a noise so the LBS is going to trade it out under warrenty since it is only a few months old. I am wanting to upgrade to a beter crank and get rid of the bigger ring since i never ise it and was wanting som suggestions of what would be a good set to get.

It depends on the type of riding you do, and whether you like ISIS or not.

Some ISIS bb's have had problems since the bearings are smaller since the spindle is a bigger diameter.

The new outboard bearings (o.k. old bullseye technology) are a solution to this, but still very costly.
