Need Advice On An 02 Boxxer
 

I've Got Two People Who Want To Sell Me An 02 Boxxer Wold Cup. The Red Forks With The Nitrate Coating. I Have No Idea What They Are Worth Because I Can't Find Them Anywere Else. One Guy Wants Eight Hundred & The Other, A Thousand! A Think Thats Pretty High For Such An Old Fork

lol i would run away fast i got an 03 boxxer for 200 bucks i even thought that was high but i knew it was just rebuilt by rock shox last season

2002 boxxer WC...decent fork, rebuilt internals, and I do love the feel of the 'high' quality boxxer. BUT...800 to 1000$ is steep. You can get newer forks that feel better for the same price.

That it quite expensive, but to be honest the 03 Boxxers were a pile of poo. Lots of pros stuck to the 02 ones because they felt so nice, lots of people around my area use the 02's because they are much better then later ones. but $1000USD is def too high.

Costs too much, even for $800. Offer less, or look elsewhere.

One reason theyre going to be so much is because there arent as many of those still around. Cambria had them earlier this year for $800 I believe, for the 02' WC. I love the way those things look compared to the 03'-05', and Ive heard lots of great things about them. Id ask if they would take $500 though...

offer $50 and see what they say :)

here's something I ran across on pinkbike. Seems pretty cheap in comparison. Assuming newer is better.
