New wheel, what rim???
I'm having a wheel built and i need to choose a rim, i ride mainly dirt and do a lot of jumping. i know the atomlab trailpimp is a obvious choice but it is a bit to pricey. I was trying to decide out of:
cheers
dan
- halo combat
- dmr dv
- or just any other rims that are <£40!!
cheers

my suggestion - build the wheel yourself and spend more money on a really nice rim.
I have heard great things about the Mag 30 -

I was even nice enough to go find the review

though those Mags from sun are nice too, and reasonably priced. Not sure if you can get it in UK

The halo Combats or SAS's are solid rims, but they have a tendancy to flat spot if your too heavy for them and go too big..
I had Sun Doubletracks and i loved them, really nice, check them out.
And Atomlabs wheels arent as strong as some in the price range, from what ive been told..
The DMR Deevee's have had loads of good things said about them, they're reasoanbly light for the amount of strength they carry so thats a bonus, im considering getting a set for my new rig... And they're dirt cheap if you get them made by Chainreactioncycles.com
Who is building the wheel for you, it doesnt matter what bits you buy, if they arent put together by a quality builder they wont last more than 5 minutes, chainreactioncycles have a great rep for wheels, so does stif.co.uk and merlincycles are also very good..
But Quality comes at a price..
I would suggest Deevees laced up by CRC..
