Lightweight and cheap hardtail frame.

Hello!
I look for the lightweight frame. I think, that the best frame in price up to 500 euro would be Orbea Scape. It weights 1.300kg. Do you have any other ideas?
And the second question: which size should I choose? My height is 1.70m and my leg lenght is 81cm. Should I choose 16", or 18"? I will use this frame to XC races and marathons.

PS. Sorry for my English, I just learn this language .

my guess would be a 16. Ideally you should test ride some bikes and figure it out for yourself. I really don't know who makes light frames but I bet rocky mountain probably makes something you might be interested in.

The Orbea Starship frames a few years ago were like 2.8lbs, pretty darn light, and pretty reasonably priced.
