I've ridden in the rain plenty in south Florida and haven't had an issue. Maybe I got the one 510 that works in the rain, have magic fingers or just got lucky. But now that you bring it up I'll have issues I bet... gee thanks

Same here. Never an issue with the touchscreen of my 510 being wet. Besides...how often do you need to press the screen on a ride? I press the screen three times on a ride. Start, stop, and save.
Edit: I actually use the lower rubber button to start and stop. I use the touchscreen to "save" the ride. So I touch the screen once per ride.
