Alright, after trying helmets on all over the place today, it came down to a duel. The giro Mad Max or the Pryme AL. I went with the Pryme because Mael rides with a Netti (I think?) and they are the same helmet and if its good enough for a burly Whistler rider, its good enough for me. It has lots of vents so it should keep me cool in the summer. I can not wait for the DH trails.

Well there is only one LBS that sold them in Austin and I hate that LBS, they are jerks in there. He said he could get it for $100, they didn't have the color I wanted in stock but I did try it on. I ended up ordering it from Danscomp.com and I got it for 74.94 shipped.
