Help Identifying Norco Bike

I bought a bike off Kijiji (Similar to Craigslist for those not in Canada). The guy I bought it from was not the first owner so he didn't know much about it. Knowing this some might suspect it was stolen. Believe me, so did I. I checked at my local police station and a few online sites and no one had reported it. So it must not be a stolen bike.

Anyway, the few things the guy did know was that it was a 2007 and a Norco (obvious). Most other labels are no longer present, which does not surprise me since it has seen a lot of wear. I only bought it for 300 CAD. Just recently I decided to try to find a serial number and look that up. I found what I believe to be a serial number at the base of the frame. Unfortunately I found no where to look up the number and no decoder to try and decode it myself. The number I found is A20100704.

Can someone help me decode the serial number. Below is an image of the bike itself.

No real help here other than to say, Great Find! My first three MTN bikes were Norco.

Thanks. This is my first REAL mountain bike, so I don't have much to compare it to but I really like it.

You can probably find it on Bikepedia, though it might have a different name or colors for Canada. Date codes on the parts would narrow it down to the year, the components would help too. The serial number usually tells you the date of manufacture but not particular model. There's a chance that it conforms to the codes in T-Mar's database in the Classic & Vintage forum.

Possibly a B-Line.

I agree with cobba, it looks like a B Line. Norco's website has archives for previous year models, but it only goes to 2008. You may be able to get an answer from them about the year if you provide the serial #

Looking at images of 2007 B-line bikes looks like it could be one of those. I'll keep looking to try and either confirm this or confirm a different model. Thanks
