I was considering an Enduro or Prophet but after riding them both think a better bike for me on the streets for exercise and off road trails is either the SJ FSR Expert 120 or a SJ Fsr Pro 120 m/w. Is the Pro worth the extra $400 since it has XT versus the LX on the Expert? Also what do most people think of the Cannondale Scalpel 1000?

Yeah im planning on using the bike for the trails on the weekends since this when I have time to travel around for some good trails and during the weekdays to use it on the streets to get some exercise. The Enduro and Prophet just didnt seem to feasible for any street riding so I looked at the sj 120 pro and sj expert 120 since both handle way better on the streets just didnt know if its worth the extra $400 to upgrade from Shimano M-570 LX to M-765 XT. Also wanted to know how people with the Scalpel 1000 like it and how it handles on the streets.

Hi, I just got a scalpel 2000 and for it is the ultimate ride. I had an NRS 2 ,AC2 and a prophet 2ooo. The prophet and the AC were like driving a tank compared to the sacapel. The scalpel is great on the road and in the trails. People say they have a very hard ride but I think it is very comfortable, Its all how you set it up.You can lock out the fork and put the rear shock on max propedal and you are on your way.
Good luck
