I was looking at bikes online the other day and found something interesting...

https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...egory_ID=3050#

Performance bike, an online retailer has a bike that is titled the iron horse warrior ds SE. i have heard of the warrior ds and the warrior pro and have looked at both quite a good deal. this bike looks to have the same frame as the warrior pro with a few diferent comonents. most notably are the fact that it has a sram x.7 rear derailer as aposed to the LX that the warrior pro has. it also has a marzzochi MX race fork and a manitou metal rear shock. (the warrior pro has a manitou splice elite fork with a rock shock bar air rear shock)

my question is this, does anyone have any experience with this bike? searching the forums and also the internet turned up little information. also if anyone could post their opinions on a comparioson between the warrior pro and the warrior ds se, that would be nice. the warrior pro is selling anywhere from $799 us to $899 us where the warrior ds se is going for $749 us on the only site that i could find it on.

the bike is only available from performance. i have had mine for about 6 months, and so far the only problem i have seen lies with my habit of abusing bikes. my back derailleur snapped right off after i hit a 9 stair on the bike- but if you can get your hands on one of the bikes, from performance, they will give you some kind of store credit or something- also they will fix pretty much anything for free within the first couple of months. i have not been disappointed with the fork either, which really surprises me, because when i bought the bike i didnt have enough money to upgrade the fork. i told myself that i would do so, but never got around to it. and even though it is a cc fork, i tightened it up and **** and so far i surprisingly have not been disappointed. you cant find better components at this price, so i would say to go with it- youll be ****in surprised
