Recommended Knee/Elbow Pads?

Another myriad of confusing choices out there. I ride Southern California trials but need some protection and wondered what was recommended by forum users.

Thanks

I like the Fox Launch hard guards. A little bulky but very good protection and not near as hot as they look. I often get back in the car and forget I still have the knee pads on. I find most of the soft pads are actually hotter to wear then the Fox hard pads. And I like the fact I can just pop the straps on the Fox pads and not have to take my shoe off to put them on or take them off.

Tried these below and they work fine but I know I'll find ways to not use them as they won't fit over shoes. I'll try the Fox guards you recommend. Thanks.

I like Pocs and Alpinestars Paragons, they're comfy and work well.

If you are looking for light duty pads look at g-form. I know a few people with them and they really like them.
