I have no idea what _topography_ they are talking about, and I thought that the off-size wheel trend had gone quietly into the night. The guys who put 24" wheels on for trail riding are taking them back off again, why would even smaller wheels track better? Wide tires are nice in snow and sand, but small-diamater wheels are a tool of the skatepark, IMO. Maybe that is the "topography" they mean.
