Man that ride SUCKED!

What happened? Me and two friends went up to the mountains to ride 3 different trails: The first one, which is in the woods, lots of rocks and loose gravel & other stuff. I clear the first section but on the second I wipe out, nearly crushing my... "family jewels". Relieved, I stand up. My hand is in pain from the hit but I know I'm OK. I get on the bike. Try to anyway. The left pedal literally RIPPED off, it's hanging by a small piece of plastic. The crankset is bent, the outer chainring totally, middle one a lot, the smallest one slightly so I could roll home (had to go back down and continue on the road, hitting the next two trails (rockgarden trail and dirtjump trail) with a screwed pedal and crankset isn't a good idea.

Diagnostic:

New pedals.
New crankset.

I have 100 euros saved up for the 661 Full Comp I was hoping to get next week but I know it'll have to wait. Any ideas on the prices? 30 euros for some decent pedals (Bruiser 1 style pedals, I think they're called pin bearing pedals) and really, no idea for 70-90 euros what sort of crankset I could get? (Bear in mind here everything is quite a bit more expensive).

The second I find my camera I'll take some pics of the crankset and pedal.

I don't measure rides in broken parts. Happens to often especially when doing dh. Now I judge the ride by how I rode. Was I on...80%, 100% etc. Past couple of rides have been declining for me. Ride 2 days ago I was at probably 80% and last night (it was freaking hot at almost 95 degrees) I was probably at 50%...not overly fun at all ...think it is time for a day or two off to play some bball

You should be able to find FSA v-drives pretty easily. I remember chatting with a buddy in euro somewhere and fsa prices are pretty close to ours. Pedals go cheap. Wellgo has sets for like 30$, the stick like clue and you don't cry when they break. I hate expensive pedals, I go through to many to bother spending more than 30$

I was riding at 90%, that was as much as I could concentrate in the heat. I was actually planning to get new pedals but after the summer. Thanks for the suggestions.
I was thinking about some Wellgo platform ones aswell, my two friends have them, and they've been put through a lot of abuse.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah, I'm looking for platforms, sorry for the confusion.

Get some Poverty Peddlers. Great pedals... the bins are a lot better than my OEM wellgo's on my DK. Replacable, and they grip much better.

You can get a set of them for like $17 on danscomp.com, or possibly other places.

Congrats on breaking the chainrings, hang the set up on your wall as a trophy.

I have Wellgo pedals on two of my bikes, and they work flawlessly for me.... Many miles of abuse they've handled quite nicely....

V8's are the dogs gonads. The guy that invented them should be made a saint.

My bike is ready to go, once again.

I won't spoil the surprise of what parts are now fitted, my father borrowed my photocamera and took it to Hungary for a week. So, this Saturday, I'll post some pics.
I must say, I'm really happy with the new parts and I even got 10 euros off the total price.
