I am in the market for a MB. I will be riding over hilly terrain in parks, no jumps, nothing crazy. So first priority is it can handle that, second priority is COMFORT.
Would something like Schwinn Sierra be adequate? (yes I realize schwinn is a mass produced wal-mart brand). Anyway I am tempted towards something with a seatpost suspension, and a more upright position, and being sub-$400 too.
So whats a good model? Thanks.

Specialized has some ugly looking comfort bikes that you might like... Crap for mountain biking if you decide to do any, though.
You could probably get a regular hardtail MTB and put a suspension post on it, but it shouldn't be too uncomfortable with stock stuff, maybe a new saddle.
Just get bike shorts and wear them without underwear like you're supposed to, and get accustomed to the seat, and the riding position, and you should be fairly comfortable...
The specialized hardrock and trek 4300,4500, etc are very nice. I have the hardrock sport, and it can certainly handle a lot of mountain bike trails, including some with some fairly rough terrain.

but if you aren't looking to do trails, maybe consider a hybrid bike as well, better for road riding, but still a little more rugged...
