2004 Jamis Dakota AL: does it look sketchy?

These are some of the specs for the 2004 Jamis Dakota AL. The rest can be found at the link provided below.

FRAME 7005 triple-butted “Superlight” aluminum main tubes,
S-bend/D-shaped stays, gussetted down tube, replaceable derailleur hanger, international disc brake mount.

FORK Manitou Skareb Comp, 80mm travel.

DERAILLEURS Shimano Deore XT (hi-normal) rear, Deore 31.8mm
top swing/top pull front.

BRAKES Avid Ball Bearing disc brakes, Avid FR-1 levers.

SHIFTERS Shimano Deore,Rapidfire-SL, 27-speed

Anything sketchy I should be weary of? I'm 110lbs and I'm looking for a solid hardtail that will be good for downhill as well as uphill riding, possibly races in the future. This bike weighs 25.5lbs and is supposedly ideal for this purpose. I was looking for a bike in the $1000CDN range, and this one has a MSRP of $1800, but because its a 2004 I can get it for $1050CDN tax in still brand new. It has a lifetime warranty on the frame, which is also quite attractive.

It's a great bike, I wouldn't worry about it.
