I was thinking of getting an '05 Norco 125 and was wondering if anyone has one and if the frame is good?

I would do some immediate upgrades along with some eventual upgrades.

Here are some IMMEDIATE UPGRADES I want
    - Fork (Manitou Stance Static 05 or Manitou Stance Flow 05) (Suggestions??) (I can get the Static for $AUD350 instead of $AUD489 NEW)

    - Stem (I'm thinking Funn Serial Killa or Serial Rippa) (Can get either for $AUD25 New instead of $AUD55)

    - Bars (Funn Full On or Funn Fatboy Slim) (Any experience with either of these? Which one is good)

    - E-13 Bashgaurd (I'll use the Truvative Guide)

Those upgrades I will get with the purchase of the bike.

    Now EVENTUAL UPGRADES

    -Avid BB7's 8inch Front & 6inch Rear (Hopefullly soon)

-Either a MAG 30 or Double Track 24inch Rear rim (To a Hadley Hub) (VERY EVENTUAL cause theres no way I'll have enough money after buying the bike)

Is that good for Street riding aswell as Dirt Jumping, Very light freeriding + Downhill and Trials?

Thanks for any extra help given!

    Cheers, Adam.

That sounds like a killer combination. What cranks and pedals would you have on them?

    Stock.

The Cranks are Truvativ Hussefelt ISIS GIGA DH spline BB. And Pedals Wellgo alloy flat pedals.

Eventually I might upgrade pedals to Odyssey JC's.

the flow is a Freeride fork, 150mm of travel. the static is a DJ/street fork with an air assist and 100mm of travel. its up to you how much trave you want.

the e13 bashguard will NOT fit the truvative guide. you need you get either the truvative bashguard or get the e13 SRS

    That just wrecked my day.

    Are you sure?

I really don't want to spend $AUD300+ on a chain device...

My best friend has the Norco 125. You don't need the upgrades that you said. It already has an awesome chainguide, and the fork is probably better than a Manitou stance anyway. The only thing I'm big on is you adding a 24 inch rim on the back. If you'd like, you can even put V's that will fit on a 24 inch rim. The frame on the 125 is AMAZING.

ya i have the truvative guide on my aline and i didnt belive it but the dude at the shop showed me why. the bashguard need to be cut away a bit to clear the roller on the bottom. truvative makes a lexan(or whatever plastic the use) bashguard to fit. 40$cdn. i just cant get one because their backordered. if i where you i would save up some money, not get the bash and then buy the SRS. the boxguide sucks ive droped my chain 3 times with it.

ya that bike is definatly tough

And like I said the frame set up was insane, only thing for me was i need more gears, because i do ride across town now and then, and i didnt want to spend more money than i already was spending on putting more gear into it.

But if your looking for that kind of bike you wont be dissapointed. Sweet rig
