    hayes sole VS hayes Hfx-9

I know they are both hydraulic and one is a one piece master cylinder the other 2 but performance wise is there a noticeable difference on the trails?

The hayes sole caliper has only one moving piston; the inboard pad is fixed, similar to a mechanical disc brake.

The hayes nine has a caliper with two moving pistons, and it is more powerful.
