Your question is very vauge, what type of riding will you be doing. Freeriding only or will you also be riding trails. If you are looking for a cheap freeride/down hill only bike and can't swing alot of money, yet want to buy new from a shop, then yeah it's worth it. But it weighs around 45lbs and has one chainring, so don't expect to be doing much trail riding with it. The components such as the rear shock are entry level from brand without a great rep. It also only has 5.5in of rear travel. So no, I wouldn't get it.

It gets good ratings, because inexperience riders buy it and ride it, and its the best thing they have ever ridden. They generally dont know whats out there and have nothing to compare it to.
