help! i need to id my bike...

i hope someone can help me. several years ago, i bought a used mtn bike out in 'frisco and have since wrecked the derailleur hanger. can't find a new one, had a friend use a grinder on a spare hanger he had lying around, made it work, but wrecked that one too. so, i'm trying to id my particular frame, since the bike was sold to me stripped of it's decals (looks very nice, by the way). the shop that sold it to me said they thought it was a 1996 Diamondback Team DBR. it's a bright green, dual suspension, about 4.25" travel in the rear. serial number on the bottom bracket is H7K07423. i hope this helps.
