is this bike worth the $2,000?
i will be doing mostly freeriding and occasionally trails

$2000.00 is MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price).
You should be able to get that model at a cost lower then that. If you can't, I wouldn't pay 2K for that bike. Not that it's not necessarily worth that much - but a competetive bike shop should be able to sell it below that amount.

As long as you are doing mostly freeriding. I don't know how well that beast would handle for any kind of trail use.
