Does anyone have any clear pictures of Josh Benders big drop? And was there not another guy that did just as big of a drop? I would really like to see these, and have searcged, but found little. Thanks in advance.

If you do a search. I believe I posted one ages ago. I don't believe there is a clear picture. The clearest is found in the archives somewhere and it still sucked. I did post the movie too (I clipped it from down)

HE lands lots just not this one. And I am pretty sure it is the biggest attemped. One by romaniuk is pretty close in the 50ft range though. From what I have read. Either way. Attempted or landed. Its nuts

lots of his stuff is in loose dirt (probably for the better) and the rebound+loose dirt= falls

hahaha...yeah, good ole e-spec, the ridemonkey way. Seriously, he knows his bike and is a damn good rider overall. That might be a small part but I would bet his rebound and bike were setup the way he normally drops 45ft with ease. The loose dirt and front wheel driving in was more likely the bigger of the two reasons.

But yeah he mostly chills in utah (and other dirt paradises) but has ridden here a few times. Definately has some ofthe most unique lines in the business, hes pulls a line out of something that doesn't look rideable.

yep. You have obviously never made a movie. I promise you other backflip andother big moves crash a lot. It happens, they just film bender. But I give up, I don't plan on arguing the finer points of a rider online. I have seen him ride and know people that have ridden with him. He has more than just balls.

The backflip was also attempted on a non-kicker standard dh jump. He lands it pretty clean in another movie once he got it.

ya i know hes a good rider. but a crash is more appealing to the audience then a completely clean line. or so it would seem. if you want debates about bender go to RM its been beaten to death there.

yeah I know. Not gonna debate, just stating fact. There is enough e-spec by a bunch of kids who haven't even seen him ride let alone met him. Calling him a crap rider and having never seen a 54 ft drop is just plain lame.

Worst thing that happened to bender was Thor Wixom and the down series and later the NWD. If he had been filmed today he wouldn't have gotten the crash reputation hes got today.

I think it's awsome to see a complete clean line, crashes get boring fast.
