ARE all springs the same

If i bought a manitou swinger for my 02 stinky, manitou doesent make a heavy enough spring for what i need. but could i put a fox spring on it to get the job done. -derek

Couldn't you just buy the Fox DHX? Instead of overlaying parts?

well i have the dangerboy rockers whick give my bike 2 extra inchs of travel. the bad part is that the shock stroke stays the same forcing me to run much higher spring rates. manitou does not make these very high spring rates for such a low amount of stroke. i think there max is 500 with 2 inchs of stroke.
