    downhill tires

    Hello,
ME and my cousin are having a debate on the size of downhill tires.. I say maximum width is 3.5 no bigger. He claims he say 4 inchers. Any links or ideas?

    Thanks

Anything over 3" it overkill. And good luck finding anything over 3" anyway.

Putting a tire bigger than 3" on a downhill bike will just be stupid. Well i probably wouldn't say stupid, but 2.2-3.0" is the recommended size.
