one sprocket crank conversion

im a new member and just getting back into biking,i have an 00-01 gt backwoods and ride on average about 16 k a day, and i never use the two smaller sprockets on the crank, are there any net guides reguarding removal, or has anyone any hints?

I just had a recent thread like this....look up removing front derailleur permanently
