difference between front and rear tire

I have an Iron Horse Axion and the tires have on them "front and rear"
I dont notice any difference but I was wondering if it was internal differences

Most likely just the tread design.

Notice how the rear tire is smaller than the front? It's for better turning and more speed. (I think)

Yes the front tire is wider then the rear. Mine are 1.95 in the rear and 2.10 in the front. 26 inch size.

From what I read, it's for better control in slippery conditions.
