I've had my new MTB ('04 KHS Comp ST) for about a month and am about to bring it to the LBS for the complimentary one month checkup & tuning. I think my riding position might be a bit low and stretched out. Looking in reflective windows, my back looks to be about a 45 degree angle to the ground when I am seated and holding the handlebars. After riding for 3 hours my neck and shoulders will feel fatigued from holding my head up and forward. Otherwise the bike is great.
Should I ask LBS for a different stem to help with a more upright position? Or maybe I should stick it out if this is a more efficient riding position. Any other ideas or comments? Thanks.
